Fire threatens Cardoza building, Jiffy Lube

Garden club looks forward to another year of growth

The Manteca Garden Club gave away two scholarships this year to graduating high school students. One is going to continue her studies at Stanford University, and the other will start at the University of California, Los Angeles in the fall. Total scholarship awarded to the two graduates was $1,500.

Stolen vehicle leads to 2 arrests
