• FIRE – BESSEMER AVENUE: MAY 26: Manteca Firefighters were dispatched to a grass fire late Saturday, May 26, on Bessemer Avenue. Upon arrival, they found a grass fire in the rear of a commercial lot. Engine Company 241 began fire attack from the south side of the fire, while Engine Company 242 made access through the property and began fire attack on the north side of the fire. Firefighters were successful in containing the fire to the immediate area.
