MJC Concert Choir and Chamber Singers offer holiday concert

MODESTO – Modesto Junior College will present their annual Holiday Festival of Choirs Concert on Friday, Dec. 7, in the Performing and Media Arts Center Main Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available in the Auditorium Box Office Monday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and will be available at the door for $5 general admission and $4 for students and seniors.

Bob Mintzer L.A. Big Band concert to wrap up Delta Jazz Festival Saturday

San Joaquin Delta College and the Division of Arts and Communication sponsors an all-day Jazz Festival on Saturday, Dec. 1, featuring middle school, high school, and college bands, combos, and vocal jazz ensembles from throughout the Western United States. Wrapping up the festival is a performance by the Bob Mintzer LA Big Band at the Warren Atherton Auditorium on the Delta College campus. The concert begins at 8 p.m. Ticket prices are $30; $24 for reserved seating.
