MJC Fall Choral Concert set for Friday

MODESTO - The Modesto Junior College Concert Choir will present a Fall Choral Concert on Friday, Nov. 8, at 7:30 p.m. in the Main Auditorium on the East Campus, 435 College Avenue. The event is open to the public, and parking and admission are free.

Victorian Christmas Feast returns to City Hotel at Columbia State Park

Haunting ‘Trail of Tears’ up next in Stockton Symphony’s Classics

STOCKTON -The Stockton Symphony opens its second Classics concert of the season with two beautiful examples of French symphonic repertoire: Ravel's "Le Tombeau de Couperin," and Bizet's "Symphony in C Major," juxtaposed with a very recent flute concerto, "Trail of Tears," by American composer Michael Daugherty. The vivid contrast makes for an extremely intriguing and satisfying evening.

MODESTO – The Modesto Junior College Civic Engagement Project (CEP) invites the community to a screening of the documentary film "The Meth Epidemic" on Thursday, Nov. 7, at 7 p.m. in Forum 110 on MJC's East Campus, 435 College Avenue. The free event is part of the CEP Fall Film and Lecture Series. Campus parking is available for $1 in student parking lots.
