Stolen truck recovered by police within 10 minutes

A stolen 2006 Silverado pickup truck was recovered by Manteca Police 10 minutes after it was stolen from in front of a home in the 300 block of Roosevelt Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. Thursday.

Gunman robs Manteca store for cash, smokes

An armed suspect walked into the Quik-Stop at the corner of Union Road and Louise Avenue early Tuesday morning, pointed the gun at the store owner, and demanded both the cash in the till and cigarettes from behind the counter.
