Clifton L. Lease, 91, passed away peacefully April 13th at his home in Ripon surrounded by his family. He was born to Roy and Bernice Lease of Escalon where he grew up. After high school Cliff joined the military serving 27 years fighting in WWII, Korea, and Viet Nam. He had the distinction of working at the highly secured Air Force Base (NORAD) in Cheyenne, CO monitoring missiles. After retiring he became involved in the food industry as a chef and restaurant owner.
George Charles Courreges the afternoon of April 18, 2016, George passed away in Manteca, CA after a battle with Alzheimer's. George was born in Oakland, CA on October 17, 1935. He was the first child and son, of Dorothy and George Courreges of San Leandro, CA.
Edith K. Johnson, 91 entered into rest, Thursday, April 21, 2016 in Stockton, CA. She was born in Alabama, February 28, 1925 to the late Ethel and Claude White. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Charlie Johnson (2000), sons Tim Johnson (1979) and Larry Johnson (2010), grandson Steven Johnson (2015), and her four younger brothers.
David Alan Fletcher, 47, entered into rest surrounded by his loving family on Friday, April 22, 2016 in Stockton. He was born on October 25, 1968 in San Jose, CA. In heaven he joins his mother Leonora Fletcher and his father Robert Howard.
Jeanne Marie "Rocha" Oast, age 55, entered into rest on April 15, 2016 at UCSF San Francisco, CA. She was born on January 14, 1961 in Stockton, CA to the late Ed and Sylvia Rocha. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jay Rocha.
Burton Alan Tamarra II, age 50, born October 11th, 1965 passed away April 6th, 2016. Burt was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, and moved to Fremont, California in 1967, where he was raised and lived until becoming a resident of Manteca, California in 1999.
Clint Robert Daniel, 44, lived in California and Oklahoma, graduating from Manteca and attending Delta College. He enjoyed electronics, wood working, mechanics, gardening, and being outdoors, spending as much time as he could at "The Cabin."
