Everett Clair Wentworth, 93, beloved father, grandfather, and great grandfather passed away at his home on September 30, 2009. He was born in Cresco, Iowa on June 26, 1916 and traveled to Gilroy, California with his parents and three brothers in 1924. He attended local schools in Gilroy and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1934 where he lived for 84 years. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Wentworth for 69 years. He and Margaret had moved to Manteca two years ago to be closer to their family.

Corina Elizabeth Montalbo, 87, died Friday, October 9, 2009, at Alexander Cohen Hospice House in Hughson. She was born on May 1, 1922 in Petaluma. She lived in Manteca for 2 years, previously in Redwood City for 29 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, the late Antonio Montalbo.

She will be missed for her love of family and great Italian cooking.
Jimmie D. French, 72, entered into rest on October 5, 2009 in Manteca, Ca. Jimmie was the only son of 7 children born on March 20, 1937 in Montrose, Arkansas. Jimmie has made Manteca his home for over 27 years.
Robbie Lura Burgess, 98, of Manteca died Sunday, October 4, 2009. Graveside services will be held Thursday October 8. Born in Muskogee, OK. Mrs. Burgess moved to Stockton in 1946. For 30 years Mrs. Burgess was a clerk for Rough and Ready Island Defense Depot. She enjoyed church, camping and fishing, quilting, knitting and traveling, and was a member of Sequoia Heights Baptist Church. She will be missed by her family very much.
