Alice F. Machado, 94, entered into rest on November 23, 2015 in Manteca, CA. She was born in the Azores Alice was the fourth child of six children to the late Mr. and Mrs. John and Florinda Machado on November 10, 1921. She is preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband Joe R. Machado Jr. and son Ron Machado.
Debbie passed away at UCSF Hospital in San Francisco with her two daughters by her side. She lived in Manteca and graduated from Manteca High School. Her greatest joy was her family, especially when she became a grandmother. Debbie worked as a pharmacy technician for CVS until her death.
Donna Lee Hellman, 57 entered into rest on October 23, 2015 in Manteca. She was born on January 29, 1958 to the late Louis and Margaret C. Hellman. Donna joins her parents in heaven as well as her sister Sheila Valim and late sister-in-law, Lynn Hellman.
Karel Hoogendoorn, age 82, entered into rest on November 10, 2015 in Stockton. He was born on September 30, 1933 in Haastrecht, Netherlands. Karel immigrated to the United States in 1952, and was a resident of Manteca for 63 years.
Benjamin David Beam, dedicated husband, fabulous father and Poppy, loving son and brother, died peacefully at his home on November 11, 2015. While we may have lost our finest shepherd, he is now with the greatest shepherd. Born June 9, 1957, in Manteca, California, Ben attended grade school at Modesto Adventist Academy then graduated from East Union High School. Ben went to San Joaquin Delta College and then on to Fresno State to earn his Bachelor's degree before completing his Master's Degree at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
