Sheila Valim, age 51, passed away peacefully on October 5, 2013 surrounded by her devoted husband of 25 years, Jorge and her loving family, after her courageous battle with cancer.
Isan M. Ortega passed away on September 30, 2013, in Tucson, AZ. He is survived by his loving daughters, Eleanor J. Ortega, Ana M. Rios, Julie A. Quiroz, Barbie J. Wey-Ortega, and his many loving grandchildren. Isan is also survived by his two sisters, Elizabeth O. Marihart and Mary Coronado, and his brother, Paul Ortega. Clint passed away Sunday at the age of 76, following a short illness. He was born in Pocatello, Idaho and was preceeded in death by his brother Efton of Jackson, Wyoming, parents, Rawlston and Maxine of Portland, Oregon and grandson Clinton Joshua Poole of Manteca.

Ernie grew up and spent his youth and adult life in Manteca. He attended Castle School and then graduated from Manteca High School in 1947. Beverly "Grams" Mae Isbell, 81 of Atwater, CA, passed away on September 25, 2013 in Merced, CA. Beverly was born in Orange, CA on December 20, 1931. Beverly was married to Nathan Isbell; they were married many wonderful years. Beverly Isbell worked as a co-owner of a local Bait and Tackle shop in Manteca, CA for many years. She then decided to raise her children and be a homemaker. She enjoyed Bingo, horse racing, and spending time with her family.

Chester (Chet) Arthur Esenwein Jr. passed away early on Saturday from natural causes, after major surgery. He was 77 years old. He was born in Buffalo, N.Y., on Oct. 8, 1936. He spent four years in the U.S. Navy where he earned his veteran status in the Vietnam War. He was well known as the best auto detailer in Manteca, owning his own detail business for many years.
