Cindy Mandeville, 48, passed away at her home in Oxnard on September, 17, 2009 after a five month battle with ovarian cancer.
Robbie Lura Burgess
Robbie Lura Burgess, 98, of Manteca died Sunday, October 4, 2009. Graveside services will be held Thursday October 8. Born in Muskogee, OK. Mrs. Burgess moved to Stockton in 1946. For 30 years Mrs. Burgess was a clerk for Rough and Ready Island Defense Depot. She enjoyed church, camping and fishing, quilting, knitting and traveling, and was a member of Sequoia Heights Baptist Church. She will be missed by her family very much.
Albertha De Boer
Albertha (Scheeringa) De Boer, 90, was born in Sheldon, Iowa on Sept. 13, 1919, the second child born of Samuel and Ollie Scheeringa. She was raised on a farm with her six siblings. She married Charles (Chuck) De Boer the love of her life, at the age of 18. With 3 little girls they moved from Minnesota and made their home in Ripon where Chuck found work at local dairies. Robert E. Whitmore
Robert "Bob" E Whitmore of Ripon, was born in Arroya, Colorado December 17, 1927 and went home to the Lord on October 5, 2009 at the age of 81 following a long battle with cancer. He will be remembered for his positive outlook and sense of humor. He enjoyed making others smile by teasing or sharing a joke with them. He loved to travel, read and spend time with friends and family.
