Norma Silagi of Manteca died on Monday, February 8, after 84 years of vibrant, happy life. Norma was a native of Roanoke VA. She moved with her family from San Jose in 1970, and lived in Manteca for 38 years.
Lillian S. Walden, 70, of Manteca, passed away on Saturday, February 6, at Manteca Care & Rehab Center. She was born on August 14, 1939 in Los Angeles, CA, and lived in Manteca for 70 years. She was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and TOP of Manteca. Lillian will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Jennie Catalano Barnum, 90, died on Tuesday, February 2. She was born in 1919 in Pittsburg, Cal. When she was 8 years old she moved to Manteca. She attended Yosemite School. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Modesto.

Dolores Frances (Rigney) Kohles, 95, died Thursday, January 21 at home with her family at her side in Manteca. She was born on October 7, 1914 in Oakland. Dolores was a retired secretary for the City of Oakland. She was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Oakland. Dolores was an 85-year resident of Oakland, moving to Manteca in 2001.
Ron Padilla, of Stockton, passed away on Saturday, January 30, in Stockton at the age of 57. A lifelong resident of Stockton, Ron was born on July 1, 1952. He graduated from Franklin High School and later went on to be a railroad worker and a farmer. Ron is survived by his companion, Beverly Tupas; his sons, Jeff, Derek, and Chad; his brothers, Bobby, Ruben, Frankie, and Johnny; and his sisters, Ruth, Mona and Annie.
Brian Joseph Ward, 47, passed away on Thursday, January 28, at his home in Manteca of heart disease. Born in Castro Valley, he was a resident of Manteca for twenty years and attended St. Anthony's Church. He had previously lived in Hayward, CA, and was a member of St. Clement's Parish. He attended St. Clement's grammar school, Moreau High School, Hayward High School and Chabot College. He was employed as a forklift driver in distribution warehouses in both Hayward and Manteca.

James Wilkerson was born November 21, 1954 and entered in to rest on September 18, 2014, after a brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, Retta Wilkerson, one son, Richard Wilkerson of Manteca, one daughter, Calisa Wilkerson of Manteca. He leaves behind his father, Billy Wilkerson of Oklahoma, his sister, Karen Officer of Tracy, and Brian Wilkerson of Manteca. He has four grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Wilkerson of Manteca, Grace O'Brien of Manteca and Lily Wilkerson of Jamestown. He was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna Wilkerson.
