Carol was born on July 15, 1931 in Compton, California to the late Marion and Clara Harlan. The Harlans are a pioneer family with very deep roots in California. Historical records show that they came West in 1846, and were the last party to cross the Sierra Nevada safely into California that year, ahead of the ill-fated Donner party.

Harry Thomas Wiggins, 61, Tom as he liked to be called, was born to Harry and Katherine Wiggins in Columbus, Ohio, on November 22, 1948. Eleanor Hall died peacefully on the morning of October 13, 2014. She was born August 30, 1923 in Everett, Massachusetts to Italian immigrants Agostino and Irene Scenna. Eleanor was the eighth of eleven children. As an infant, she survived a house fire that took the lives of five of her siblings. She married World War II veteran Paul Hall in 1945, and they later moved to northern California where they raised three children.
