Nita Sheldon, age 80, of Manteca, CA passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at her residence. She was born in James Town, North Dakota on December 13, 1933. Nita worked as a mail carrier at Sharps Army Depot for over 30 years. In her younger years she camped and fished often. Nita was an avid shopper and loved to dine out for breakfast or lunch. She loved her four dogs whole heartedly, and donated often to the SPCA and Humane Society.

He and his family later moved to Manteca, CA where he went to high school and met his beautiful wife, Jeannette Valdez, with whom he had three daughters. Tom enlisted in the Army in 1956 becoming a helicopter mechanic and was stationed in Italy for a three year tour. He was also recognized as a Marksman. Evelyn Carter Klippel passed away at the age of 93, in a local hospital on December 19, 2013. She was born in Palisade, Neb. on December 16, 1920. She graduated from Palisade High School and entered nurses training at St. Luke's Hospital in Denver, Colo. Following graduation she worked in the hospital in Imperial, Neb.
