Corrine Louise Aquaro, 83, of Ripon passed away peacefully on Nov. 27, with her family by her side. She was born Nov. 2, 1926 in Grand Island, Nebraska to the late Donald & Lorraine Blair. A resident of Ripon and Manteca for the past 63 years, she worked for over 40 years as the office manager & bookkeeper for the family business.

Marissa Alexandria McLeod passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the age of 17. Marissa came feisty and fighting into this world, 2 months premature and eager to blossom. From that point on, she strived to exceed all expectations, and never gave less than 100% in anything that she did. She is deeply loved and will be forever missed by her mother and stepfather, Melinda and Chad Shaw, and her father and his girlfriend, Robert McLeod and Amanda Ragsdale, as well as her stepsister, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Vera Morris, 81, of Manteca and most recently Pahrump, Nevada, passed away unexpectedly on November 5. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Morris. Warren Tilley, 88, entered into rest on December 1, 2009 in Manteca, California. He was born on September 24, 1921 in Sasakwa, Oklahoma, to the late Mr. and Mrs. Charles and Roxie Tilley. Mr. Tilley was the baby of 14 siblings and joins all of them in heaven as well as his late wife Juanita Tilley, his son Andy Tilley, and granddaughter Tracey Tilley. Warren was a Lathrop resident for over 44 years.

Hope T. Ramos, 75, of Manteca, passed away on Wednesday, November 25, at her residence in Manteca. She was born on August 15, 1934 in San Antonio, Texas. She has been a resident of Manteca for 30 years, and worked as a CNA for 6 years. Hope enjoyed her word puzzles, spending time with her family at reunions and going to church. She loved her Mexican music and was a loyal Raider's fan. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

Bob served in the U.S. Army from 1949 to 1952. He married Elwanda Wilson on November 29, 1952. Elwanda preceded Bob in death on May 5, 2008.

Doug Haro was born in Stockton, California on August 22, 1948 to Fred and Marilyn Haro. In 1964 Doug met the love of his life, Maxine Severin at Calvary Baptist Church in Stockton, California. They were married May 11, 1967. Doug enlisted in the Army in 1967 and did a tour of duty in Vietnam from 1968 to 1969 in the First Air Cavalry. Sam Scott Battista of Turlock, CA worked as a butcher at Turlock Supermarket, a mechanic at Olson's Tractor Repair, a driver for Airgas, a housepainter with his father, brother, and nephew, and was a Master Craftsman. He was as proud of his work restoring downtown Turlock as he was building wheelchair ramps for his loved ones. He was truly a Sam-Of-All-Trades.

He was blessed with two grandchildren, Juraidi Rey, and Zachary Rey, as well as a great grandson Tyler Thomas Rey, step-granddaughter Jessica Miller, and step-great grandson, Jakob Miller.

Roger Falge passed away after a brief time in Hospice care while visiting his children in Washington State. He was born in New York City and lived in Manteca for the past 20 years. Roger practiced as a Marriage and Family Counselor locally for most of those years. He was deeply committed to helping his many clients. He was also devoted to his religion and was a parishioner at St. Anthony's Catholic Church.
