Rose Blanco, 79, passed away peacefully on Sunday, Sept. 13, 2009, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Crows Landing to Joseph and Emily Pacheco and graduated from Patterson High School in 1947. In 1953 she married her beloved husband Stephen Blanco and moved to Escalon where she resided for the remainder of her life. Rose enjoyed a 25-year career with the US Postal Service. In her retirement years Rose and her family enjoyed traveling extensively to destinations such as Hong Kong, Ireland, Portugal and the Caribbean. Sibyle Lucille, age 89, was born in Blanchard Oklahoma, and passed away Thursday, September 10, at Kaiser Hospital in Modesto, after a year long battle with kidney failure. A dedicated family woman, she worked long and hard to provide a loving home with delicious meals on the table every night.

Halleigh Rae "Halleigh-bug" Parker, 14, was born and raised in Modesto and moved to Spokane, Washington in 2007. Halleigh loved to read, she loved to draw and she loved her animals. She was always bringing home stray animals to "save" them from ill-fortune. Halleigh was very friendly and she loved to talk to people. She was very caring, kind and compassionate.
