He attended school in Manteca and graduated from Manteca High School in 1956. He was on the wrestling team at Modesto Junior College and received a degree in agriculture from Fresno State University.

Tammy Michelle Chavez, 40, loved everybody. She loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed BBQ's at the lakes and having a wonderful time with everyone around her. She always had a beautiful smile on her face, laughing and having a good time. She was loved by many. She loved coloring pictures with her kids and grandkids. She was the best skater and loved going to skating rinks with her kids and family. Tammy was a big country music fan and her favorite singer was Allen Jackson.

Janet Marie Teicheira passed away suddenly in her home at the age of 63. She was a generous, kind, giving, spiritual woman that was loved by everyone who knew her. Her smile and laugh were contagious and will be missed by many. Janet graduated from Manteca High in 1968 and received her AA Degree from Delta College in 1970. He had a passion for fishing, car racing and gardening.
Born in Cortland, NY, on June 22, 1957, Jay Charles Hoag went to be with the Lord on February 3, 2014. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, son and uncle. He is survived by his wife, Becky Hoag and stepson, Andrew Bartlett, his children, Finlay Hoag, Neil (Markail) Hoag, Daniel (Lauren) Hoag, Casey Hoag and their mother, Connie Hoag. Dale Lee Bonds passed away on Jan. 29th after a long illness. He was 78 years old. He is survived by his wife of 57 years Geneva Bonds; his son Derrel Bonds of Atwater; his daughter Ronda Frampton of Indiana; his daughter Leanna Scott of Manteca; his son Dan Bonds of Manteca his daughter Luchelle Sartain of Manteca; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. James Leslie Benedict passed away December 11, 2013 at the age of 61, due to complications from a stroke. He was born to Ivan and Donna Benedict, April 27, 1952 in Omaha, Nebraska. He was raised in San Mateo, CA and graduated from Hillsdale High School. He lived at Camilla Gardens in Manteca for nearly 20 years. Jim was a talented photographer who loved animals. He also greatly enjoyed working with his hands and building models.
