Todd's career was spent as a butcher where he worked for Safeway Stores. Prior to that, he worked at Lucky Stores and in the moving industry. He had a very special gift with children and animals, always surrounded by them, playing with and caring for them.

Hazel graduated from Everett Washington High School in 1929. Following her graduation she worked in the high school office as a secretary, followed by the American Fruit Growers. Hazel married Fred H. Jones in 1935 and became a homemaker.

Juanita Norton, 86, passed from this life into the arms of her Lord on Tuesday, February 23, after complications from surgery. Juanita and her family moved to Ripon 47 years ago from Indiana. Juanita was a hard worker and was employed by Nicolayson Farms for 25 years. After her retirement in 1988 she enjoyed many hobbies such as gardening, canning, cooking and reading, but her greatest pleasure came from her family. Juanita was a lifetime member of the VFW and the American Legion.
