Howard E. Huntley, 98, of Lathrop, passed away peacefully on Sunday, August 16, 2009. He was born July 20, 1911 in Oakdale; he was the second of five children of the late Lyman & Ila Huntley. He lived in San Francisco for 33 years and retired from the City in 1973, where he worked for 25 years as a truck driver. He loved living in the city but in 1975 his wife Nellie persuaded him to move to Lathrop, where his ancestors were early settlers. A year after moving, his beloved wife of 28 years passed away.

McCoy who passed away on March 7, 2008.

He was raised in San Mateo, CA and graduated from Hillsdale High School. He lived at Camilla Gardens in Manteca for nearly 20 years. Jim was a talented photographer who loved animals. He also greatly enjoyed working with his hands and building models.

He is survived by his wife Luella (Drummond) Andersen, married 65 years, his sons; Douglas (Linda) Andersen, Peter (Angie) Andersen, grandsons Tyler and Travis, great-granddaughter Gianna and great-grandson Athen, and Linda's son, Sean McComb.
