He died unexpectedly on Friday, September 25, 2009 at Camp Delta, Al Kut Iraq, where he served as the Health, Safety, and Environmental coordinator for military contractor Kellog, Brown and Root at the multi-national air base.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Syble Hawks, his step-father, Homer Hawks, his father, Robert Walker and his son Robert Dean Walker. Robert was a resident of Farmington for 19 years.
Everett Clair Wentworth, 93, beloved father, grandfather, and great-grandfather passed away at his home on September 30, 2009. He was born in Cresco, Iowa on June 26, 1916 and traveled to Gilroy, California with his parents and three brothers in 1924. He attended local schools in Gilroy and graduated from Gilroy High School in 1934 where he lived for 84 years. He was the beloved husband of Margaret Wentworth for 69 years. He and Margaret had moved to Manteca two years ago to be closer to their family.

William "Bill" Weibel passed away in Stockton on January 11, 2014 at the age of 92. He was born to parents John F. and Clara I. Weibel in Hartington, Nebraska. He was the second oldest of 9 siblings. He moved with his family to Lodi in 1939 and attended St. Anne's Catholic Church. Bill enlisted in the Army Air Corps in 1942 and completed a Specialized Service and Maintenance on the Bell Interceptor airplanes. He received the Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal and the WWII Victory Medal. He was discharged honorably in 1946 as a Sargent.

Nita Sheldon, age 80, of Manteca, CA passed away Friday, January 10, 2014, at her residence. She was born in James Town, North Dakota on December 13, 1933. Nita worked as a mail carrier at Sharps Army Depot for over 30 years. In her younger years she camped and fished often. Nita was an avid shopper and loved to dine out for breakfast or lunch. She loved her four dogs whole heartedly, and donated often to the SPCA and Humane Society.
