Mary P. Cardoza, 98, passed away June 13, 2010 at her residence in Manteca. In 1931 Mary moved to Manteca from Los Banos soon after her marriage to husband, Joe. Together they raised two children on their dairy farm and later farmed alfalfa, grapes and almonds. She loved her family unconditionally and supported them in any way she could. Mary was a fabulous cook and prepared Sunday dinner for her children and grandchildren every week. She worked hard but made it look easy.
