Phyllis Carlton, 76, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2010 in Manteca, California. She was born on November 27, 1933 in Tacoma, Washington. She now joins her husband in heaven who has been waiting for her for 10 short months, the Rev. James Carlton. She was also preceded in death by her parents Claude and Willetta Frost and one sister Billie Tilson.
Micheal A. Moller-Fisher passed away suddenly on Wednesday, March 17, at St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma, WA. Micheal was born on May 30, 1966 in Manteca, to Adrianus and Wilhelmina Vander Werff. Micheal was the youngest of 7 children. With the sudden passing of Adrianus, Wilhelmina married Max Moller. Max adopted Micheal on February 20, 1976. Micheal was raised in Manteca.
Albert Anthony Mendonca, 86, entered into rest on April 8, 2010 in Rancho Cordova, California at the Mather Veterans Medical Center. He was born on January 14, 1924 in Oakland, California. He joins his wife Lillian in heaven as well as 4 brothers and sisters.
Genevieve V. Smith, 88, entered into rest on April 9, 2010 in Modesto, California. She was born on March 30, 1922 in New Bedford, Mass. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Raymond Smith and her two sons Donald Smith and Edward Smith as well as one brother Bill Brown and one grandchild Sissy Smith.
Maxine J. Murchison, 84, passed away on Sunday, April 11, 2010 in Manteca. She was born on July 17, 1925 in Fresno, California. She was a residence of Manteca for 10 years and prior resident of Fresno and San Lorenzo. In heaven she joins her husband, the late Donald Murchison and her parents, the late Richard and Minnie Niceley, and seven sisters and two brothers.
Neva Louise Thomas passed away on Wednesday, April 7, at the age of 82. She is survived by her husband, James V. Thomas, to whom she was happily married for 63 years, and by their children, daughter, Jeanne and husband, Bob; son, Jim and wife, Carol, and son Joe and wife, Julie; and her sister, Leona Alkire and her brother, Jerry Hinton. Neva was also blessed with nine grandchildren, Jerri, Melissa, Jessica, John, David, Janette, Lisa, James and Joseph and two great-grandchildren, Jackie and Maddie.
Jason Matthew Davino, age 36, who passed away Monday, March 15, after a courageous, two-year battle with Stage IV Malignant Melanoma. Jason was born October 10, 1973, in Anaheim, CA to John James Jr. and Patricia Hope (Miller) Davino. Jason spent his childhood in both Northern and Southern California. He attended Golden West Elementary School, graduated from Manteca High and continued on to graduate from Woodruff Cosmetology in Stockton.
