Brian Van Laar, 49, went to be with the Lord on July 30, 2016 in Sonoma. He was born to Norman and Frances Van Laar in Bellflower, CA on July 18, 1967. At a young age, Brian loved trucks, partially because his dad was a truck driver at that time and for most of his life thereafter. When Brian was in his mid-teens, he got a taste of the dairy business and decided that it wasn't for him.

Larry Gene Ray of Ripon passed away in his sleep at home on July 28, 2016. Larry was born in Kansas City, MO, to Wilson and Juanita McKee Ray. When he was five years old his family moved to Southern California. John Emrick, a Ventura social science teacher for 35 years and a 55-year Ventura resident, passed away on July 26 at age 90, in Ripon, California. Born on a farm near Somerton, Arizona on February 10, 1926, to Harrison and Pearl (Hansbrough) Emrick, attended Somerton Grammar School and graduated from Yuma High School in 1943. He joined the Navy and served as a medical and dental corpsman. In March, 1944, he married his high school sweetheart, Cora Alice Hanna. They had two children, Pearl and Steven.
Donna Mae Wissink, 61, peacefully passed away at her home on July 23, 2016 in Manteca. She was born on September 27,1954 in Hudson, South Dakota to her late parents Ring and Marie Wallenburg.
