Manuel Saldate, 69, entered into rest surrounded by his loving family on January 7, 2016. He was born on June 4, 1946 and was a resident of Manteca for over 30 years. He leaves behind his adored wife of 46 years Christina Saldate of Manteca, his children, Daniel Saldate (Aryel) of Manteca, Matthew Saldate (Beth) of Manteca and Sarah Saldate of Manteca. He was blessed with five grandchildren, Katelyn, Andre, Shawn, Skylar and Luke. Manuel leaves many siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Leo Lawrence Garcia passed away on December 14, 2015, at 88, years old. Proud descendant of Azores Island immigrants Frank and Rose Garcia. Veteran of WW II – Pacific theater while in the Merchant Marines, and then as Marine assigned to the Seabees unit in Korea where he survived the Chosin Reservoir Battle. Gloria was born July 1, 1929 to Molly Belle and Paul Robert Neth in Oakland, California. She attended Oakland High School, San Francisco City College and University of Southern California where she earned her degree in Music and Education. After teaching for a few years, she went back to San Francisco State College and received her credential in speech correction. She married Claus Coeler in 1954 and had three children, Carolyn Allen (Ken), Chris Koehn (Randy) and Glenn Coeler (Amy). They were married for 13 years and lived in Marin County.
