After a valiant effort to live with a debilitating disease for over 30 years, Paul quietly passed away at home in the company of his loving wife of 38 years, Cheryl. Throughout his lifetime of dealing with multiple sclerosis, Paul exhibited a fighting spirit, one that led him to craft his personal life philosophy. He fervently believed, that because of his MS, he touched more lives and with a deeper impact, than if he had not dealt with the disease.

Meli was energetic and loved life. She enjoyed people often saying "Everywhere I go people just like talking to me." She enjoyed painting, arts and crafts as well as her occasional trips to the casinos where she could gamble and talk to people.
During Dahl's 82 years, Dahl was a husband, father and grandfather. He worked as a fire captain, building contractor and served in the US Navy. He was a member of the LDS church, Modesto Model A Club, and enjoyed fishing, hunting and many other activities.
