Nancy L. (Oppenheimer) Stern
Nancy L. (Oppenheimer) Stern, age 81, entered into rest on February 4, 2013 in Stockton, CA. She was born on November 30, 1931 in Erie, Pennsylvania and later lived in Youngstown, Ohio. Her family moved to Los Angeles, when she was young. It was in the Los Angeles area where she met her husband, Leon Stern, raised a family, owned a business and lived for more than 60 years. Nancy and Lee moved to Manteca to be closer to their children in 2011.
Margarette Brenda (Bigg) Bliss
Margarette Brenda (Bigg) Bliss was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, Canada, on February 7, 1929. She died from a stroke on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at Manatee Memorial Hospital, Bradenton, FL.
Kenneth H. Fishburn
Kenneth H. Fishburn, 91, entered into rest in Manteca on February 12, 2013. He was born the ninth child of 11 children on December 8, 1921 in Marian, Kansas . He joins his wife Mary Fishburn in heaven.

Irene Marie Stockwell was born in Vanderbilt, Michigan, on December 12, 1920 and passed away in Stockton at the age of 92 on January 17, 2013. Irene was a resident of Manteca from 1961-1988. Irene was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth M. Stockwell and her son Gary D. Stockwell. She is survived by her daughters Deborah Anderson of Idaho Falls and Kendra Stockwell of Stockton. Ruth R. Becker entered into rest on February 8, 2013 at her home in Manteca surrounded by her family. Ruth was born in Los Angeles, California in 1923 to the late John and Carrie Mundhenk. Ruth came to live in Manteca 28 years ago after she traveled the world with the 1984 Olympic Silver-Medalist Volleyball team, as their team manager.
Jacqueline “Pinky” Hawes
Pinky was born in North Hollywood, California to Don and Elizabeth Garman. Due to lactose intolerance, she required an extended hospital stay at birth. He is survived by wife of 58 years, Louise Ambrose and 2 Sons Ricky and Steven Ambrose. He was blessed by 4 Grandchildren Ricky, Kimberly, Jennifer and Steven Ambrose as well as 1 Great-granddaughter Cora Lynn. In addition he has one brother Leonard Ambrose.
Wayne Arthur Johnson
Wayne Arthur Johnson, 90, passed away peacefully on April 26 in Manteca, California. Wayne was born on March 3, 1923 in Stockton, CA. Wayne was a World War II veteran, serving his time in the Pacific Theatre and taking part in the Battle of Palou and the Occupation of Japan. He settled in Manteca after the war and remained there for the remainder of his life, working as a farmer, for Best Fertilizer and Spreckle's Sugar.
Juanita “Nita” Mae Scott
Juanita "Nita" Mae Scott, age 83, born February 24 1930 in Corticelli, MO, entered into rest on April 23, 2013 in Stockton, CA. Nita worked at Tri Valley Canneries for 15 years and then owned Vern Scott Trucking Company with her husband for 25 years. She was a member the Moose Lodge in Lodi for 38 years, A.M.A motorcycle association and of the C.V.M.M.A modified midgets racing.

Pamela Koehn, 57, entered into rest on April 26, 2013 in Manteca, CA. She was born on February 11, 1956 in Corpus Christi, TX. She joins her husband Mark Koehn, brothers Mark Lee Janke and Alan Dale Janke, along with her nephew Mark Lee Janke Jr. in heaven.

On April 18, 2013, Addie (Toni) Kaczmarek passed away at the age of 86 in Manteca, CA. She was the loving wife of Walter Kaczmarek for 62 years. Addie was born in Oklahoma in 1926 and moved to Southern California in the mid-1940's where she married Walter in 1951.
