Sherilyn J. Weatherford went home to her heavenly father on October 22, 2015 in Manteca, CA. She was born on March 13, 1942 in El Dorado, Kansas to the late Lawrence and Ellen Alwin. Sherilyn was very proud of her Kansas heritage, but it didn't take her long to settle into Manteca. She moved to Manteca in1966, and became very passionate about getting involved and serving the community. Being most proud of her time spent working with Soroptimist, Safety Council, Eastern Star, United Way, Girl Scouts, PTA and Women of United Lutheran.
Arlene Leona Forrest transitioned from this life to the next on Sunday, October 18, 2015. She was 77 years old. Arlene, sister to David and Jack Davidson, was born on February 1, 1938, in Red Lodge, Montana and is preceded in death by her mother Leona Davidson, father John Wolfe, stepfather Robert Davidson, sister Bess Barham, brother Robert Davidson, and nephew David Barham.
Rosie M Rogers, 72, entered into rest on October 16, 2015 in Stockton, CA. She was born April 23, 1943 in Tijuana, Mexico, to Sacramento and Antonia Murillo, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Vera Pena, Socorro Raybon, Ramona Aquirre, Josie Munoz and one beloved grandchild Meagan Rogers. Rosie is survived by her children; Alfred Rogers Jr. (Tammy Woods), Lisa Rogers (Robert Cardoza) siblings, Carmen Gunsch, Mary Roybal, Lupe Turrey, Frank Murillo, Nacho Murillo, and Jessie Caldron. She was blessed by four surviving grandchildren, Syddra Fletcher, Frank Rogers, Devon Rogers and Baylee Rogers.
Lyle (Mac) McCleerey entered into rest on Thursday, October 8, 2015. He was born in South Dakota on November 26, 1934 to the late Vernie McCleerey and Buelah Whitmore. In heaven he will join his brothers, Robert, Forrest and LaVerne.
Irene K. Acosta 75, entered into rest on October 6, 2015 at her home in Stockton, CA. She was born May 16, 1940 in Bakersfield, CA. to Henry Garcia and Mary Lou Davis. She has lived in the San Joaquin Valley for 65 years and attended Escalon High School. Irene was married to Joseph Acosta for 32 years. She retired from the San Joaquin County Instructional Media Center after 21 years of service. She also worked in the nursing field for 18 years. She was a member of the Stockton Lioness Club and enjoyed baking, knitting and gardening.
Linda Webster, 49, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Manteca. She was born on December 18, 1965 in New York. In heaven she joins her father Richard Webster and her adored grandbaby, Steven Joaquin Neely.
