East Union wrestlers 7th in tourney’s team portion

Sarah Phillips, Anthony Melena and Josh Bird all went undefeated for East Union to help the Lancers wrap up the team portion of the Bear Creek wrestling tournament 3-2 on Friday, finishing seventh out of 14 teams.

Cougars one shot short in semifinals of McDonald’s

STOCKTON – When Eric Duncan's final shot fell harmlessly to the floor as time expired the El Cerrito Gauchos looked more relieved than thrilled. Weston Ranch gave the Gauchos all they could handle in a 69-66 gut-wrenching loss Friday in the 3rd Annual McDonald's Classic semifinal at Delta College.
