Lancers’ run cut short with first-round loss

The East Union girls soccer team was right in the fight, going into the intermission trailing host Vista del Lago 2-1. in Folsom. The Lancers proved unable to match the Eagles the rest of the way, getting outscored 2-0 over the last 40 minutes to end their season with a 4-1 Sac-Joaquin Section Division-IV Soccer Championships loss Tuesday.
