OAKDALE - Manteca High's girls soccer team was under a minute away from maintaining its slender lead over Sierra in the Valley Oak League standings in a pivotal showdown with Oakdale Tuesday.

OAKDALE – Manteca High had an opportunity to pull in a piece of the first Valley Oak League championship in 25 years, but the Buffaloes were only able to come close in a 4-1 loss to the Oakdale Mustangs Tuesday.
RIPON – The Ripon Indians scored early and often, building a 6-0 lead after just three innings, on their way to an 11-4 Trans Valley League victory over Ripon Christian Monday.
