East Union looked impressive through the first portion of its EU Varsity-JV Tournament Saturday against Tokay, but after the Tigers fought back with two unanswered goals East Union was forced into action and the Lancers responded, pulling out a 3-2 win at Woodward Park.

T’Wolves come up short in penalty kicks

After starting the Vern Gebhardt Champions Cup with a perfect run Friday, Sierra High opened up day two on fire, earning a berth into the tournament title games against the St. Mary's Rams. After two halves of play ended in a tie, and two overtime periods, the two schools moved to a shoot out and the Rams came away victorious with the 2011 Champions Cup.
