Sierra’s girls in the mix for divisional title
Anthony Chapman, the nervous wreck that he is, has done the math over and over in his head and on paper since Tuesday's Sac-Joaquin Section Division III Trials and Modesto Junior College.
CORRECTION
In the article entitled, "T'Wolves dominate all-VOL selections" published in Wednesday's edition of the Bulletin, Sierra High sophomore midfielder Stephanie Vanni and Manteca freshman keeper Jimi Guibor were omitted from the all-Valley Oak League selection list. Vanni, who scored 10 goals and helped on 11 assists for the 2009 VOL champions, was named to the second team. Guibor was an honorable mention. The Bulletin regrets the errors.
T’wolves dominate all-VOL selections
There were very few surprises when the Valley Oak League released its 2009 girls soccer all-league selections this week, as 11 Timberwolves were honored after a 14-0 campaign.
