1995: EU volleyball wins section

Seventy years ago, on November 14, 1945, shattering Los Banos High with a 26-0 victory, Manteca High wound up their home games for the season at Pennebaker Field in the their first win of the 1945 schedule. Even the rain could not stop the Buffaloes as they ran and passed their way downfield to score in every quarter. Halfback Tino Venzor scored two touchdowns on runs of 45 and 12 yards. Quarterback Curt Patterson tossed a 40-yard TD pass to end Leonard Dias and fullback Leroy Judd scored from 18 yards out.
