Ripon rolls Wildcats

RIPON – When Sonora High came to Ripon to take on the Indians, the matchup between the two perennial Sac-Joaquin Section playoff teams had the potential of an exciting contest. Only, Ripon was clearly the better club, dominating Sonora 25-13, 25-17 and 25-16 in the two team's non-league action Tuesday.

Buffaloes can’t recover from early minute lapse

In the first 10 minutes of Manteca High's 3rd Annual Buffalo Cup opener, the Buffaloes found themselves looking up at a 2-0 deficit to the Los Banos Tigers. The Buffaloes didn't flinch; battling back to tie things up, but a goal in the final two minutes forced Manteca to deal with a 3-2 loss to the Tigers Thursday at Manteca High.
