Teammates turned rivals were recognized by the California Pacific Conference on Wednesday. East Union alumni Brittany LaMar and Cheri DeJesus were named to the all-Cal Pac team, and both earned top honors. Top Gun perfect at Pacific Qualifier

Top Guns, indeed. The Top Gun seventh-grade Navy boys basketball team took top honors at the Pacific Qualifier in Sacramento on April 21. The Manteca-based AAU team went 4-0 in tournament play, highlighting a banner weekend for the club. About an hour-and-a-half south, the fourth- and fifth-grade teams captured championships in Riverbank.
