COWBOYS BATTER PANTHERS

The Manteca Cowboys junior varsity squad made short work of the Central Valley Panthers Saturday in Modesto, 22-0, to move to 1-0 in NYFL play. Nate Arriola ran wild, scoring three touchdowns, including a 65-yard scoring scamper in which the bruising back sent a Panther defender head over heels with a stiff arm. Nick Lucchetti added a safety on defense. The Cowboys take on the Patterson Redskins Saturday at Manteca High.
