RIO LINDA - The Manteca-based Northern California Soccer Academy Rangers Premier 13-under boys team put itself on the map by winning the three-day Placer United Prestige Cup at Cherry Island Soccer Complex Sunday.
The Ripon Sea Lions are two meets away from wrapping up an undefeated Mid-Valley Swim League season after continuing their dominance at a three-team meet at Sierra High Saturday.

TRACY – The Northgate junior all-stars had reeled off three consecutive victories to put themselves in position to win one of their final two games for the District 67 championship, now Northgate is forced to win the finale after dropping Saturday's meeting with the Tracy National junior all-stars 5-3 at Monticello School.

LATHROP – For the second consecutive game the Spreckles Park 9-10-year old all-star squad tired to play catch up, but the Tracy American "A" all-stars would not surrender, holding on for an 8-4 win and bringing the Spreckles Park postseason to an end.
LATHROP – It was almost like the Spreckles Park 9-10-year old all-star team had no way of continuing its season, after looking overmatched and trailing Northgate Little League 4-0 with only nine outs remaining.

LODI – Zac Carrillo managed to hold a potent Lodi All-Star team in check over six innings, but the Manteca 15-year-old Babe Ruth All-Stars could not muster enough offense to support his effort, falling to Lodi 5-2 in the Central California District 1 elimination semifinal Thursday at Kofu Park.
LATHROP - After giving up an unearned run in the top of the first, Northgate Little League all-star pitcher Estevon Salazar got all the offense support he needed in the bottom half at Mossdale Park Wednesday.
