Area Little Leagues begin postseason all-star tourneys

This weekend will mark the beginning of the 2010 District 67 All-Star Tournament for area little leaguers picked to participate in three different age divisions. Manteca, Northgate, Weston Ranch, and Spreckels Park Little Leagues will begin action over three different locations.

EU grad has tough finish in USA Championships

Sea Lions soar in Hughson Invitational

HUGHSON – The Ripon Sea Lions continued to excel just as they have this entire season, outlasting the field during the Hughson Sea Dogs Invitational with a 1,258 to 966 win over the second place Tracy Tritons June 26 -27.

The Manteca Little League Pirates were the youngest team in the California District 67 tournament, but that didn't stop them from excelling and defeating the Spreckels Park Phillies 8-3 Sunday to claim the championship.
