Halleck makes Salida pay with game-winning knock

LATRHOP – When the Salida Giants decided to walk No. 3 hitter Jacob Souza to load the bases in the seventh inning, Spreckles Park A's clean-up hitter Stephen Halleck cashed in, driving a pitch to right field to clear the bases and usher the A's to a 4-1 extra-inning win in District 67 Tournament of Champions major-division action Tuesday.
