1989: Manteca girls top Stagg to open basketball play

20 years ago: November 21, 1989 - Manteca High got its girls basketball season under way at Winter Gym Tuesday by defeating Stockton's Stagg High 29-21 in a game filled with errors, turnovers and missed shots. Maci Buck led all MHS scorers with eight points and Jennifer Harvey grabbed seven rebounds.
