This gives the Buffaloes first place in class "B" football in Central California. The Elk Grove boys were a fast and tricky team but they could not stand up to the heavy pounding of the Buffalo line. This is the first time in the history of Manteca Union High School that the Buffaloes have won the championship of Central California.
