Lathrop School students collecting shoes for Haiti

Lathrop School is doing its part to assist the people of Haiti. Through the non-profit organization Soles4souls, students at the Manteca Unified site were able to collect most of the nearly 800 shoes. Last month, Haiti was hit by a catastrophic magnitude 7.0 earthquake. Affected were some three million people. Manteca Unified plans upgrades for 69 portable classrooms3
