Amber Diekmann is a freshman at Manteca High. A year ago, she decided to challenge herself by taking Advanced Placement classes. Diekmann now has hopes of attending college after high school. EU CHEER DRIVE-THRU BBQ

The East Union High cheerleaders will host their second annual drive-through barbecue dinner on Monday, May 4, from 5 to 7 p.m. at the EUHS student parking lot.
