Manteca Futbol Club currently filling spots on 19-under team
Manteca Futbol Club is looking to fill its under-19 girls team roster for the upcoming NorCal Premier fall season. The team welcomes high school-aged girls looking to train and prepare for the prep season next spring.

AIS soccer camp returns to Manteca next week
Ambassadors In Sport is returning to Manteca to sponsor a California soccer camp July 27-31 at the Northgate soccer fields. The 7th annual tournament is for ages 6-14 and will stress life principles from the Bible and character in competition, as well as skills and strategies of the game of soccer.
Spreckels Park BMX track races held on Sundays
The Spreckels Park BMX track in Manteca holds American Bicycle Association BMX-sanctioned races on Sunday afternoons. Signups to participate are from 2-4 p.m. with races beginning soon after.
Manteca softball club’s Tigers holding try-outs Aug. 7

The Manteca Baseball Club is holding tryouts for four teams this week. Players looking to try out for the 10-under team meet from 6-7:30 p.m. today. The 11-under team will have its tryouts from 7:30-9 p.m. Both will be held at Manteca Baseball Softball Academy located on 640 Industrial Park Drive in Manteca. LANCERS: The East Union Lancer volleyball program will be conducting a camp Aug. 10-12, The fee is $55 per camper before July 22, and $65 after. The last days to sign up for the Manteca Jaguars youth football program are today 11 a.m.-2 p.m. at Mountain Mike's Pizza on Main Street, and Wednesday, June 16 from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
East Union volleyball conditioning starts June 15
All potential East Union High volleyball players, incoming freshman to seniors will begin conditioning June 15 from 9 -11 a.m. Proper paperwork and physical must be completed and signed off by East Union administration office prior to attendance. Any questions, please email ebowers@musd.net.
