Lathrop held Oakdale scoreless in the first half Friday night and coasted to 26-14 win over the visiting Mustangs in sophomore Valley Oak League action at Bennie Gatto Field.
A touchdown in the final minutes of the first half and three in three offensive plays to start the second half kept the freshmen Manteca Buffaloes rolling in a 60-7 win over Sierra on Thursday in Valley Oak League action at Daniel Teicheira Memorial Stadium.
