Three of the four Manteca Cowboys youth football teams survived the second round of the DYSA NorCal East Conference playoffs this past Saturday in Galt.
One streak ended, but the one that mattered more did not.
Sometimes you have to take a chance – and sometimes the chance pays off. Such was the case for the East Union freshman football team on Thursday.
Three Manteca-Ripon area teams are hosting first-round playoff football games next Friday, and another is heading to Placer County.
