Siddall, Cogswell lead way for Ports

STOCKTON  (AP) — Brett Siddall homered and singled, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple as the Stockton Ports defeated the San Jose Giants 7-3 on Monday.
Branden Cogswell doubled twice and singled for Stockton.
Stockton started the scoring in the second inning when Siddall hit a two-run home run.
The Ports later added two runs in the fourth and three in the fifth. In the fourth, Chris Iriart hit a two-run home run, while Sandber Pimentel hit a three-run home run in the fifth.
Joey Wagman (4-2) got the win with 3 2/3 innings of scoreless, one-hit relief while San Jose starter Garrett Williams (2-2) took the loss in the California League game.
