An alert citizen helped Ripon Police find an indecent exposure suspect within nine hours from the time the man allegedly exposed himself to two young girls under 18.

The caller said she had received an electronic notification from police earlier in the day that told of the incident complete with description occurring on the Highway 99 pedestrian overcrossing near Ripon High School at 7:20 a.m.

At 4:40 p.m. Thursday the caller contacted the police saying that a man matching the suspect’s description had been seen at Ripon High between the buildings.  That’s where officers found Harold Wayne Graves, Jr., 47, of Ripon and took him into custody.

Graves was booked into San Joaquin County Jail on two counts of indecent exposure and two counts of annoying a child under 18 years old.

Graves is being held in the San Joaquin County Jain in French Camp in lieu of $430,000.
