Brusa hits walk-off homer in 10th, San Jose beats Stockton

SAN JOSE  (AP) -- Gio Brusa hit a walk-off two-run homer with two outs in the 10th inning, as the San Jose Giants defeated the Stockton Ports 5-4 on Sunday.

The Giants scored two runs in the ninth before Stockton answered in the next half-inning when Kevin Merrell hit an RBI single, driving in Nate Mondou to take a 4-3 lead.

San Jose starter Melvin Adon went six innings, allowing two runs and two hits. He also struck out four and walked one. Rodolfo Martinez (1-0) got the win in relief while Brandon Marsonek (0-1) took the loss in the California League game.

Heath Quinn doubled and singled three times in the win.
