Rizzo hits walk-off double in 12th, Modesto beats Visalia Rawhide

MODESTO  (AP) -- Pinch hitter Joe Rizzo had a walk-off two-run double in the 12th inning, as the Modesto Nuts beat the Visalia Rawhide 4-3 on Sunday.

The Nuts scored one run in the 11th before Visalia answered in the next half-inning when Pavin Smith hit an RBI double, driving in Camden Duzenack to take a 3-2 lead.

Modesto starter Randy Bell went seven innings, allowing one run and three hits. He also struck out two and walked one. David McKay (1-0) got the win in relief while Austin Mason (1-1) took the loss in the California League game.

Donnie Walton doubled twice and singled in the win.
