Robert “Bob” Valterza





 Robert “Bob” Valterza, 62, of Manteca, CA entered into rest June 9, 2014 at home following a long battle with cancer. He was born September 25, 1951 to the late Fiori and Lurline Valterza. He is also preceded in death by his beloved brother Ronald Valterza.
   Bob worked as an operating engineer for 33 years before retiring in 2007 from DeSilva Gates. He loved riding his Harley, watching Giants games, and collecting an array of weapons and Indian artifacts. He was also an avid wood carver.
   He is survived by his daughter, Breann Goncalves, and son, Zackery Valterza; nieces, Annette Dutra, Yvette Steves, Toni Navarro, and his many, many friends.
Bob will be greatly missed and remain in our hearts forever.
   A Celebration of Life for family and friends will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 1 PM to 3 PM at the Rendezvous Banquet Hall, 1355 N. Main St, Manteca, CA 95336
