Virginia “Beth” Witmer, age 66, entered into rest on May 29, 2017 in Stockton.  She was born on February 12, 1951 to the late Clinton and Marilyn Witmer.
Beth is survived by her sister, Lynn Kotula (Mitchel) of SC, two nephews, and five grandnephews and nieces.
Her life was shaped by cerebral palsy and this inspired her father, Clinton Witmer, engineer, to volunteer to design and build the multi-purpose building at Howard Training Center.  This was named in his honor as Witmer Hall.  Her  mother, Marilyn, supported Howard Center by volunteering with LARCS.
Beth lived with her family in Modesto until 1978.  She became a resident of Heritage Estate Homes and attended the CAPS program in Manteca. Her family wishes to thank the staff at Valley Caps and her caregivers at Austin Home.
PL Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Witmer family. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at 10:00am at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery, 900 Santa Fe Avenue, Hughson.  An online guest book is available at www.plfryandson.com.
