Born in the Philippines on March 10, 1931, Carrie A. Ramones entered into rest on June 30, 2017. She was 86 years old. In heaven she joins her beloved husband Serafin Ramones.
Mrs. Ramones is survived by her children; Mario Ramones (Juliet), Dante Ramones, Sonny Ramones, Marilyn Garcia (Danilo), Merile Crisostomo, Rose Marie Reyno (Henry), Elmer Ramones and Marie Paz Valdez. Carrie was blessed by 13 grandchildren and nine great- grandchildren. In addition she has two surviving siblings Feliza Valdez and Hermogines Asuncion.
Growing up in the Philippines Carrie was an elementary school teacher for many years. After moving to the United States, Carrie put herself through school and became a CNA working at Evergreen Rehab, Palm Haven and Manteca Care and Rehab. Although Carrie worked outside the home for most of her life her heart was always with her husband, children and grandchildren. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her family, gardening, organizing and cleaning the home and especially enjoyed family trips to Jackson. Carrie will be remembered for her strong work ethics, her love for family and for her strong-will. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
